TDK has been an official bibs sponsor of IAAF World Championships since the competition was first held in Helsinki, Finland.

set new records that matches the company's management philosophy.
After the disaster we received messages of encouragement and support from these world-class athletes.
We decided on March 15 to donate 100 million yen in relief money from the TDK Group as a whole to support disaster victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake and the affected areas. At the same time, employees of TDK Group companies around the world collected donations that totaled over 58 million yen. These collected donations were sent to the Red Cross in each country and similar organizations as relief money for the Great East Japan Earthquake.
