In recent years, investors have been looking beyond a company's finances to social aspects of its reputation, including environmental efforts. This investment strategy is known as Socially Responsible Investment (SRI), which has been spreading in Europe and the United States. TDK actively discloses SRI-related information to research agencies, and TDK stock is included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index, launched jointly by SAM Group Holding (Switzerland) and Dow Jones & Company (U.S.A.), as well as in the Morningstar Socially Responsible Investment Index (MS-SRI), which is Japan's SRI indicator.
